UPS Service Definitions
Delivery Services
DELKERB
Delivery to kerb side for deliveries under 30kgs. Over 30kgs offloading facilities will be required. The Vehicle will not have a tail lift or offloading equipment. The standard delivery is made between 0 8.30 and 17.30, normal working day.
DELSITE
Riello UPS Ltd will deliver and position the UPS to a ground floor location, unpack the UPS and remove all packaging from site. The standard delivery is made between 0 8.30 and 17.30, normal working day.
For this service it is expected that:
- the client to check the tilt and shock-watch indicators before signing acceptance.
- there is easy, unresticted access to a ground floor location.
- all door access to be greater than 750mm.
- the ground to be level and firm suitable for the equipment weight.
- the client to ensure the equipment is positioned in the correct location.
On-site Services
COMMISSIONING
Riello UPS Ltd will carry out the commissioning at pre agreed time (typically during normal working hours unless specified otherwise). Work included in the service:
- check the electrical connections and installation to ensure suitability
- check the UPS for damage during transit or installation
- connect the Battery system to the UPS, insert all fusing within the UPS system
- configure the UPS for correct operation to site parameters
- configure the UPS for the correct battery configuration
- switch on the UPS and test operation
- onfigure the Teleguard modem and Netman where applicable
- demonstrate the basic operation of the UPS to the client
- hand over relevant operation manuals and documentation.
For this service it is expected that:
- free, unrestricted and safe access to all working areas and routes is provided.
- the electrical installation and connection to be completed prior to commissioning.
- unrestricted access to the UPS system during the commissioning.
- if Teleguard is taken that a telephone DDI line be supplied local to the UPS per modem (within 1 meter).
- if a Netman is fitted that a LAN point be located local to the UPS with patch lead.

BATTERY BUILD
Riello UPS Ltd will build the battery system up on site (typically during normal working hours unless specified otherwise).
For this service it is expected that:
- it will be performed on the same day as the commissioning.
- all the batteries have been delivered and positioned to the local area where the system is to be built (within 3 meters).

TELEGUARD Installation
Riello UPS Ltd will connect the TeleGuard remote monitoring system hardware to the UPS.
For this service it is expected that the client will provide:
- a DDI telephone point within 1 meter of the UPS (1 DDI line per UPS).
- UPS supported 13Amp socket per modem (one modem for each UPS).
- the telephone number of the DDI line and any prefix code.
- a list of message recipients including Names, SMS numbers, telephone numbers.
NETMAN SNMP Installation
Riello UPS Ltd will connect the NetMan SNMP hardware to the UPS.
For this service it is expected that the client will provide:
- a UPS supported 13Amp socket (NETMAN 101 only).
- the allocated IP Address.
- the subnet gateway mask.
UPS REMOVAL
Riello UPS Ltd will remove the UPS from site during normal working hours and dispose of it to current regulations.
For this service it is expected that the client will ensure that:
- the UPS has been fully decommissioned and disconnected from all power sources.
- the UPS has an easy level ground floor route out of the building (REMSITE). If Only Kerbside collect (REMKERB) the unit should be ready for collection at the loading bay/reception or other arrange collection point and packed suitably for collection by a national carrier.

BATTERY REMOVAL
Riello UPS Ltd will breakdown the battery system ready for collection, collect the batteries during normal working hours^ and dispose of the batteries in accordance with current UK/European regulations.
For this service it is expected that the client will ensure that:
- the site has is registered as a producer of hazardous waste and has the registration number available prior to collection of the batteries. Riello UPS Ltd can not remove batteries without the site registration number.

Warranty and Maintenance
WARRANTY
Riello UPS Ltd provides a two year warranty on Plug and Play and some hardwired installations. Otherwise the warranty is one year.
EXTENDED WARRANTY - 3 and 5 year extended warranty can be offered on all plug and play systems.
MAINTENANCE - response maintenance plans are available up to 4 clock hours.
